Good Morning! I guess it’s safe to say that I don’t get up as early as I used to when I had to travel to work three times a week. I wanted to share with you all what my morning routine looks like, now that I have been working form home full time.
6:30 – Wake up. Here’s the time I get all my bathroom things taken care of. I like to brush my teeth as soon as my feet hit the ground. While, I’m at it, I may as well just wash my face too. I also use this time to listen to the Bible app.
6:45 – Get Dressed. I get dressed every day, however, I am just putting on comfortable clothes, but I do make it a point to shower and get dressed every day because it is the right thing to do.
6:50 – Beverages. Now that the sun is up when I wake up, the first thing I do when I come down into my kitchen, is to open the curtains and let in natural light. I also make my coffee, fill my water containers for the day, and feed Remi.
7:00 – Devotions. With my cup of coffee, I go to my office and do my daily devotions and journal about the topic for the day. I’ll do a full blog post on what my daily devotions look like another time.
7:30 – Sign-on. A lot of people ask, on the days you work from home why do you have to sign in so early? Here is the answer: My schedule is from 7:30 to 4pm which allows time for lunch and work out. During those times I have to be available to my job, whether it’s phone calls or emails.
There you have it! That’s my morning in a nutshell! How has your mornings changed during this quarantine? I would love to hear all about it.
