Over the last couple of months, I’ve been keeping my trash (lol) so I can do a mini product review on the items I’ve used up. It may be a long post so let’s hop in.
Honest Face and Body Lotion
After I found out I was pregnant, I wanted to find a more natural body lotion. This was a good lotion but I’m not sure if it is meant for babies or adults. It worked well, but not so much where I felt like I couldn’t go without it. I do think it would be a great lotion for a baby or even a little kid. It was moisturizing.
Tacha Water Cream (x2)
I received two sample sizes and I used them both down to the very last drop. Somehow, some way this lightweight cream has a way of providing all the moisturize your skin needs. I think it is for all skin types and it’s truly amazing. I wanted to find a dupe at a lower price point, but sometimes you make just have to go with the original. I will keep up the search but I’m not sure you can beat this.
Tacha The Deep Cleanse Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser
This was okay, nothing to write home about. It was a great cleanser but nothing fantastic about it. I used up the sample size I had and was okay moving on to something else.
Bio-Oil
I’ve been smothering my body with this stuff with the hopes of avoiding getting stretch marks. It makes my skin feel really soft and moisturized. I’ve gone through this bottle and the sample size. I actually finished another bottle while prepping this post.
Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum
I received this in a sample size. It worked for the week it took me to go through the product. It was amazing, however, I will not be purchasing it because there are other items that are just as amazing that are not as expensive. For some reason, I go through serum really fast and the cost of this item would be too much for how much I need. But if you want a luxury product I would highly recommend this.
Fresh Rose Face Mask
Over the summer I experienced extremely dry skin. While I was waiting for a Sephora order with my hydrating products, I found this little gem in my closet. It was a sample size that provided the hydration I needed while I waiting for my products to arrive. I enjoyed it, and it was nice to find a mask to use when I need extra hydration.
Valjean Labs Smooth Facial Mist
This is where my love affair with toner started. I loved the glycolic acid in this toner it made my skin glow. The only reason I didn’t repurchase it was because it was hard to find. I found it in-store but not at stores I frequent and on Amazon but the price is higher there than in stores. So I decided to try another product.
REN Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Toner
This is the other product I tried. I love it, when I started to notice I was getting low, I ordered another bottle so I wouldn’t be without. This product is amazing. I love how if I notice a blemish coming up it helps to minimize it. It smells good and it works really well. One of my favorite items from this list!
Ole Henrickson Face the Truth Cleanser
I’ve used this product countless times. I love it and this may be my 4th or 5th bottle of this cleanser. It’s a normal non-irritating cleanser. I like it because it can take off light makeup and it smells really good.
The Ordinary- Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
This was a great product. You really can’t beat the price and it lasted me the longest out of all my serums outlined in this post. It provided the moisture I was looking for and my skin loved it. I will be repurchasing after I finish my current serum stash.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel
I’ve tried this product before, over the summer I was looking for all the moisture I could find. This is not the most moisturizing product for my skin. I loved the Tatcha water cream and around the internet, this was listed as a dupe. It just didn’t provide me with the amount of moisture I needed. However, the product is lovely if you have a normal skin type.
9 Wishes Glowing Deep Hydration
If you are looking for a serum that is hydrating I thought this was a great product for less than $20. My only issue was I went through the product really fast. I started noticing myself trying to conserve what I had left in the bottle because it was good.
