First impression
It has an odd smell. However, it is very moisturizing and feels really nice on the skin. it me feel like I was using a luxurious cream. The next morning my face looked and felt really moisturized and hydrated. My skin had a nice glow to it as well. While washing my face in the morning my skin felt very soft smooth and healthy. The first impression was a good one, except for the odd smell.
With the AHA’s I was nervous this would cause me to break out or make my skin feel dry, I didn’t experience any dryness and my face didn’t break out. My plan is to use this every other night.
One week:
I enjoy using this product. My skin seems to be very well moisturized when using this product. I definitely don’t use it every night because it is designed to be an overnight mask. Just like a mask, and the AHA ingredients are not ideal to be used daily. I use this product three times a week to see the benefits. As of right now, I really like this product. I think I will plan to use this as a part of my permeant skin care routine.
One Month:
I notice on the nights I plan to use this product I get excited. It’s such a great product to use in your night time routine. I love the smell now, I guess it was something I needed to get used to. I don’t know if it’s supposed to have a citrus scent to it, or if it’s in my head because the packaging is orange. It still feels like a luxurious product and I really like reaching for it.
I am still using it every other night and the benefits are great. I would recommend that you only use this instead of pairing it with other chemical exfoliants. I started using a toner with active AHAs with it and had adjust so I wasn’t using them on the same night, because it did start to dry my skin out.
Overall Thoughts:
I’ve finished the entire container and I would recommend the Origins High-Potency Night-A-Mins Night Cream if you feel like you need something to give your skin a pick me up. The packaging states that you could use this product nightly as a moisturizer or a sleeping peel. Personally, peels and high potency items don’t work well on my skin.
I used this product three times a week and when I used it I really noticed the difference. My skin would look plum the next morning. Also, when I use new products I tend to break out because of the switch up, not with this product.
Over all I would recommend this product. If you don’t experience dullness it still is a great overnight moisturizer.
