As promised I am back with a post all about my honeymoon. The secret is out, Frank and I went to Hawaii, and had an amazing time. The resort we stated at was in Downtown Honolulu, above some of the most amazing shopping. One afternoon we decided to take a walk and ended up in Louis Vuitton. Overall, the entire trip was amazing. The weather was soooo nice, 84 and sunny every single day!
I decided to break this blog post into a few segments, because there are so many pictures I need share with you all and my server won’t let me (or I don’t know how).
Getting there:
We got to Hawaii a little later then we planned because we missed our first flight. It must have been 3am when I decided to book the flight, because I realized it was not the best idea to get married on a Saturday night and have a 7am flight the next morning. You know the rule that you have to be at the airport 2 hours prior, which has us arriving at 5am. So that didn’t work and and we decided (or had to) change the flight, which caused us to arrive later than anticipated.
Day One:
First we had to eat, dare I say, we ate at one of the most amazing Cheeseburger places I have ever been too. Quick back story Frank and I love to eat great cheeseburgers (well turkey for me) but if they have a Gluten Fee bun I am so there! After lunch we took a hike, up a mountain (I thought it was a volcano lol) the entire hike took about 3 hours, but it was so worth it! Look at the view, breathtaking. There was a small lighthouse on the side of the mountain, so amazing!
Day Two:
Shopping… As I said there were so many great stores in the area. So, how could I possibly miss out on all the amazing shopping? We ended spending way to much money in Kate Spade, but Frank insisted. Maybe I will do a haul on my Youtube Channel 🙂
Day Three:
We went to Germaine’s Luau, apparently it is a must do when in Oahu. We had such a good time, I would describe it as an amazing dinner theatre. With our tickets we received three free drinks each. Funny story, Frank and I went up separately, he got his drink no problem. As for me, I decided to leave my purse at the table, and had to jump out of line to go back to get my ID, oh and they had to give me a wrist band to let the staff know that I am allowed to drink. Slightly embarrassing but we do what we have to for a drink… I guess (lol).
Stay tuned for Part 2
xx
